ABOUT ME

Elise is a director and stage manager based in the New York/New Jersey area. Her theatre journey began as a stage manager in high school and continued throughout her college years. As a graduate of Kean University, she received a B.F.A. in Theatre Design and Technology. In her senior year, Elise co-directed dEAD dOG pARK with Megan Tobias for KTC Second Stage. dEAD dOG pARK was nominated for Best Direction of a Play in the 2019 BroadwayWorld NJ Awards and directing became a passion for Elise.

Since then, Elise's directing credits have included the main stage production of  Paradise Blue at Gloucester Stage Company;

Assistant Directing RENT in Concert with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center under the direction of Sammi Cannold;

Associate directing the site-specific one-woman show Bitch Boxer under the direction of Emily Moler;

Directing No History, a one-man show written and performed by Reynaldo Piniella, and a reading of Oversteegen by Megan Tobias. Both shows focus on the importance of amplifying history through the eyes of those who have been erased.

When not actively pursuing her theatre dreams, Elise can be found practicing aerial arts, visiting her siblings on the west coast, reading a good novel, or looking up astrology facts.

Did you know it’s a full moon tonight?

Aw, that makes so much sense!
